I simply wonder how we will maintain any kind of respect, dignity or authority from now on. How can we ever hope to have legitimacy on the world stage again? Who will listen to Britain and America in the future?

We have set a dangerous precendent. Tony Blair spoke of a lack of action now coming back to haunt us. I suspect the spectre of this invasion will be with us forever more.
