I had a dream last night where I betrayed someone very close to me. I remember it so vividly because, in the dream, I actively sought to betray this person. I was looking for a way to do it. And it makes me wonder. Am I really the good person I thought I was? Was I ever that person? Am I returning to my old ways and seeking to sabotage the good things in my life? Or is there a heart of darkness nestling in this chest? Would I really betray someone to make myself feel better? Have you ever felt like this?
