I think it's an important point for young people to learn when considering politics and the forthcoming UK general election. Politicians aren't ignoring young people, causing apathy in the youth vote. Rather, apathy in the youth vote has caused politicians to ignore us. If you don't make yourself count, why would politicians waste time on you? Sad maybe, but it's how politics work in 2005. Stand up, be counted and make yourself impossible to ignore.
