Warm sun. You're right. Warm sun. So, I thought that I would share this with you. It's not deep or meaningful, but it made me laugh out loud today.

After every Quantas Airlines flight, pilots complete a sheet which conveys to the mechanics problems encountered during the flight. The mechanics read it, then respond in writing on the lower half of the form what remedial action was taken.

The following are some actual logged maintenance complaints and responses. Never let it be said that ground crews and engineers lack a sense of humour.

Quantas, by the way, is the only major airline that has never had an accident.

P = Problem logged by pilot
S = Solution used by engineer

S: Almost replaced left inside main tire

P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough
S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft
